The first Gold Desk of the country was opened by Kraoma in 2006. Beyond the local purchase of gold, the Desk has the mission of sensi tizing the local population of gold washer s for the formalization of their activities, their regrouping in an association and the raising of their production by using new, more efficient work methods.
